Mitchell Insurance Agency is a family owned & operated, independent insurance agency. Mitchell Insurance was founded in Oshkosh, WI by Jim Mitchell. Jim built the agency from the ground up. Jim's goal and commitment was, & is, to offer his customers the very best service, locally, with choices and options, customized to meet each person's specific needs, at competitive rates. By establishing our own independent agency, Mitchell Insurance has been able to offer the small town, neighborly service and care, that the people in our community desire and deserve. We have over 30 companies which benefits our customers greatly. This provides us with many choices and options, when we are tailoring a solution to fit your needs, while ensuring you get the best price.

Jim Mitchell has been in the insurance business for over 38 years. He has vast knowledge, experience, and expertise in the industry. He has successfully used these skills to build a proficient, dedicated, and conscientious team in the agency. Building friendships and long-term relationships with our customers is very important to us. It is a big part of our mission. The majority of our agency was built by customer referrals and 'word of mouth.'
